Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 6, 2026
Lifelane is operated by Blossomlink LLC. This policy describes what Lifelane collects, what it does with it, and how to get it deleted. The short version: your data is used to run your calendar and your log, it is not sold, and there are no ads.
What Lifelane collects
- Your Google account identity: your Google account ID and email address.
- Your calendar data, synced from Google Calendar: event titles, descriptions, times, locations and their coordinates, meeting links, attendees and their responses, and calendar names, colors, and settings.
- Contact and directory information from your Google account: your saved contacts, people you have interacted with, and, for Workspace accounts, your organization's directory. It is used to show attendee names and to match people to email addresses when you create events.
- Tasks and habits from services you choose to connect (TickTick, Google Tasks): titles, notes, tags, due dates, and completion history.
- For synced calendar and task items, Lifelane stores the full record as received from the provider, which can include fields beyond those listed above.
- The log you write: a mood and a note per day, and notes attached to your weekly reviews.
- Settings, such as your time zone, saved places like home and work, and display preferences.
- Product analytics: which features get used, as events tied to a random user ID with device, browser, and page metadata. Analytics events never include the content of your calendar, tasks, or notes.
How it is used
To show your calendar, sync your changes back to Google, compute travel times, show your tasks and logs, and understand which features are worth improving; beyond that, only to keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and comply with law. Lifelane does not sell personal data, does not share it for advertising, and shows no ads.
Google user data
Lifelane's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In plain terms: data from your Google account is used to provide the features you see, and for nothing else. It is not used for advertising, not sold, and not transferred except as needed to provide those features, for security, or to comply with law.
AI features
Two features send data to an AI model (Anthropic's Claude, or Cloudflare Workers AI) to work. Quick add sends the text you type or the image you paste, so it can be turned into an event. The weekly review sends that week's event details, task and habit completions, and moods, so it can write the recap; your journal notes are included only if you have given explicit consent in the app, and you can withdraw it there at any time. In both cases the data is sent solely to provide the feature you asked for and is not used to train AI models. The providers may retain inputs for a limited period under their own terms, for purposes such as abuse monitoring. Generated narratives are cached by Lifelane until you regenerate them or your data is deleted.
Where it lives, who processes it
Lifelane runs on Cloudflare's network, and your data is stored in Cloudflare's databases. The long-lived tokens that let Lifelane access your Google account and connected task services are encrypted at rest; short-lived access tokens are cached separately and expire automatically. These providers process data on our behalf:
- Google (Calendar, contacts, and Maps route and place lookups)
- Cloudflare (hosting, storage, and some AI processing)
- Anthropic (AI processing, as described above)
- NAVITIME (Japanese transit routes; receives route queries, not your identity)
- PostHog (product analytics, hosted in the United States)
Cookies
The app uses a session cookie to keep you signed in, and PostHog sets analytics cookies. There are no advertising cookies.
Revoking access and deleting data
You can disconnect a Google account in Lifelane's settings, or revoke Lifelane's access from your Google account permissions. Either stops Lifelane from accessing your Google data going forward, and disconnecting in settings also removes that account's calendars and synced events from Lifelane's storage. Other records tied to your Lifelane account, such as task completion history, contacts, day logs, settings, and cached review narratives, remain until you ask for deletion. To have everything deleted, email support@lifelane.app; we delete stored data within 30 days of a verified request, except where law requires keeping something longer, and residual copies in backups are purged as those backups rotate.
Children
Lifelane is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, we will note it in the app before the change takes effect. The date at the top reflects the latest revision.
